About Studio Karigari
Our Story
Karigari was born from a simple idea—that the things we bring into our homes should carry meaning. We wanted to create a space where tradition meets timeless design, where every piece has a story to tell. Our collection of ceramics, carpets, and rugs is carefully chosen to bring warmth, texture, and character into your everyday spaces.
Our Craft
We work closely with skilled artisans whose craft has been passed down through generations. Each rug is patiently woven, each ceramic shaped with care, and each design rooted in heritage. These aren’t just objects for your home—they’re pieces of art that hold time, tradition, and a touch of imperfection that makes them unique.
Our Philosophy
We value authenticity, quality, and thoughtfulness. Karigari is about celebrating slow design, supporting artisans, and creating products that feel personal, not mass-produced.
Our Promise
Crafted with care – Every product is handmade with attention and respect for its craft.
Sustainable choices – We believe in mindful making that supports artisans and respects the environment.
Timeless designs – Pieces created to outlast trends and grow with your home.
About the Founder
Shreya is the creative force behind Karigari. With a background in architecture, she has always been drawn to the charm of handmade crafts and the stories they hold. Their vision for Karigari grew from a personal passion for collecting soulful pieces into a brand that celebrates artisans, preserves traditions, and brings meaningful design into modern homes.
Beyond being the founder, Shreya sees herself as a storyteller—connecting the journey of each artisan to the homes of people who value authenticity and craft.
Why Karigari?
Because your home deserves more than just things—it deserves stories, traditions, and a little bit of soul.
From the Founder...
Karigari started with my love for things that feel handmade and soulful. I’ve always believed that a home should reflect the stories of the people who live in it. For me, that meant surrounding myself with pieces that carried history, warmth, and a sense of craft.
While traveling and meeting artisans, I realized how much of this beauty often gets overlooked in a world that moves too fast. Their patience, their skill, and their stories deeply inspired me. I wanted to find a way to share that with others—and that’s how Karigari came to life.
Every item we bring to you is something I would choose for my own home—something that feels personal, not just beautiful. Karigari is, in many ways, a piece of my own journey, and I hope that when our creations find a place in your home, they become part of your story too.
